A Napanee man is facing multiple charges, including impaired driving, after failing to remain at the scene of an accident.
Lennox and Addington OPP were called to Thomas St W in Napanee just after 2 a.m. on October 22, 2026. The suspect’s vehicle had struck several parked cars and left gouges in the pavement from a tire that had come off the rim.
Police tracked the vehicle and found it nearby.
As a result of the investigation, 26-year-old Samuel Kelly from Napanee was charged with operation while impaired, blood alcohol over 80, dangerous operation, and failure to remain.
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Greater Napanee on December 1. His driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days and vehicle impounded.
