The Christmas holiday season is fast approaching and a longtime charity effort is getting underway in Quinte West.
The annual Quinte West Adopt-a-Child program is now accepting registrations.
Residents are being asked to donate warm indoor clothing for children.
Last year almost 2,000 families registered for the program.
