In Loving Memory of Brenda Elaine McCumber
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved aunt, Brenda, who passed away peacefully in her sleep on September 29, 2026.
Brenda was a woman of deep and unwavering Christian faith. Her love for God was at the center of her life and was reflected in the way she cared for others, gave generously of herself, and lived according to the values she held so dearly. Her faith was an important part of who she was and will remain a lasting part of the legacy she leaves behind.
Brenda will be lovingly remembered by her surviving siblings, Gary, Ken, Jack, Terry and Stephen and his wife Wanda, along with their spouses and families. She was predeceased by her siblings Ted and Linda, and by her sisters-in-law Elsie and Gloria. She will also be deeply missed by her many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends, all of whom will carry their own special memories of her.
Although we grieve the loss of Brenda, we find comfort in knowing that she is now with her Lord and Saviour, whom she loved and served throughout her life.
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” 2 Timothy 4:7
Brenda will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever held in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Trenton Wesleyan Church, Trenton. A luncheon and time of fellowship will follow the service at the church.
Until we meet again.
