On Friday, October 2, the Bay of Quinte business community willcelebrate the best in local business at the 30th Annual Quinte Business Achievement Awards Gala.
This year, over 300 nominations were submitted by customers, employees and community members throughout June, resulting in more than 100 businesses, organizations, and individuals being recognized across 13 award categories. Nominations celebrate outstanding business practices, innovation, leadership, community involvement, and exceptional customer service.
The gala will serve as the culminating event of Bay of Quinte Small Business Week, taking place from October 19 – 23. This year’s celebration will be held at Legacy Event Centre, located at 4211 Old Highway 2 in Belleville. Cocktails and networking begin at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 7:00 p.m. and the awards presentation at 8:00 p.m.
Guests can look forward to a three-course dinner, live music, networking, photo opportunities, and door prizes. Tickets are $120 plus HST and can be purchased online at qbaa.ca.
Applications are reviewed by impartial business leaders and professionals using category-specific scoring criteria. Three judges are assigned to each category, and all deliberations are conducted in confidence. Winners are selected solely on the merit of their submitted responses, meaning no voting or public campaigning can influence the results. The winners will be announced during the gala.
“This year’s gala is especially meaningful as we celebrate 30 years of recognizing the people and organizations that strengthen our regional economy,” says Taetum Roseberry, awards program coordinator. “It is an opportunity to honour their achievements, connect with business and community leaders, and celebrate the outstanding work happening across the Bay of Quinte.”
The Quinte Business Achievement Awards are made possible through a joint effort by local municipalities, chambers of commerce and business support organizations across the Bay of Quinte region.
