Prince Edward County OPP say three people have been charged after a home invasion.
On Thursday, shortly after 8:30 a.m., officers responded to Loyalist Parkway in Ameliasburgh Ward after receiving a report of a home invasion.
Officers located and stopped an involved vehicle and learned three individuals had left the area on foot.
Police say that after extensive efforts by responding officers aided by members of the Emergency Response Team, Tactics and Rescue Unit, the Canine Unit and OPP Aviation Services, two individuals were located.
Later in the day, one additional individual was located and arrested.
Twenty-year-old Arthur Moulion of Montreal was charged with the following Criminal Code offences:
- Break, enter dwelling house- commit indictable offence
- Pointing a firearm
- Disguise with intent
- Uttering threats – cause death or bodily harm
- Firearm- use while committing offence
- Assault with a weapon
- Fail to comply with probation order
- Failure to comply with release order
Twenty-year-old Jeremie Kiamo of Laval Quebec was charged with the following Criminal Code offences:
- Break, enter dwelling house- commit indictable offence
- Pointing a firearm
- Disguise with intent
- Uttering threats – cause death or bodily harm
- Firearm- use while committing offence
- Assault with a weapon
- Possession of firearm or ammunition contrary to prohibition order
- Fail to comply with probation order – two counts
Twenty-two-year-old Konrad Fanou-Ako of Montreal was charged with the following Criminal Code offences:
- Break, enter dwelling house- commit indictable offence
- Pointing a firearm
- Disguise with intent
- Uttering threats – cause death or bodily harm
- Firearm- use while committing offence
- Assault with a weapon
- Possession of firearm or ammunition contrary to prohibition order
- Fail to comply with probation order
The investigation continues with the assistance of the Prince Edward County Crime Unit and Forensic Identification Services.
