It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Maureen (Stewart) Finch, on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at the age of 74. Maureen passed peacefully at the Bridge Hospice surrounded by her family.
Maureen was a devoted wife to Morley Finch for 54 years, a loving mother to Vickie (Darren), Vaughn, and proud grandmother to Emma, Oliver, Grayson and Carlin. A caring sister to Donna (Gary). An aunt who was adored by her nieces and nephews and a one of kind friend whose kindness and warmth touched everyone who knew her. Maureen was Predeceased by her parents Donald and Bernice Stewart.
Maureen grew up on the family farm, attended Belleville Business College, worked at Bennett’s Home Furnishing in Campbellford, Springbrook General Store and then retired from IDA MacLaren Pharmacy. Maureen enjoyed camping, watching Nascar Races & Sports, playing card games with her friends and family and had a love for Johnny Reid. She will be remembered always and loved forever for her contagious laugh, unforgettable smile, and strong faith.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Weaver Family Funeral Home, 77 Second Street, Campbellford, followed by the funeral service at 12:00 p.m. A reception will follow the service from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Following the luncheon, interment will take place at Petherick’s Corners Cemetery.
The family kindly asks that memorial donations be made to the Bridge Hospice ,Campbellford Memorial Hospital, or the Baptist Church would be appreciated by the family.
