Robson, Garry “Rusty” passed away with his loving wife Bonnie by his side at Kingston General Hospital Wednesday September 16th, 2026. Garry was the beloved husband of Bonnie. Proud father to Leanne Robson, Jennie Robson, Krista Robson of Toronto, Matthew N.B Robson (Jasmine) of Air Ronge and cherished step father to Carrie Parkhurst (Kevin) of Trenton. Garry was a doting Grandad to Zander Garry Robson, Teagan Maddie Robson, K-Lynn Marie Ratt, Tanika Robson, Kage Matthew Robson, Dianna Faith Robson and Ariel Maddison Robson all of Air Ronge. Garry was predeceased by his parents Dennis “Robbie” and Joan Robson, his brother Terry Robson and granddaughter Cydnie- Lynne Robson. Garry loved his family, extended family and friends dearly and will be greatly missed by all.
Garry and Bonnie had many adventures together, traveling with their small trailer until it became too difficult. They then took to scenic drives always filled with a history lesson, laughter and the best memories. He was an oral historian, a military collector, a true story teller and a safe place for so many. Garry spent time at schools and long term care facilities sharing his love of history and the military. He spent many days on the front porch with a cup of tea, his beloved dog Chloe by his side enjoying the sunshine and socializing with everyone that passed by. Garry always said he was closest to God in the rays of sunshine on the front porch.
As per Garry’s wishes cremation will take place and he will be laid to rest at the Greenwood Cemetery 1079 Whites Rd, Brighton ON
