UPDATE: The highway has now re-opened.
An accident on highway 401 has caused some disruption near Kingston, resulting in the highway being closed.
The incident occurred just after 8am, at the overpass with Westbrook Road.
All eastbound lanes of traffic were closed due to the incident, they have since re-opened.
