A boat was destroyed by fire in Prince Edward County.
On Friday September 4, emergency crews responded to Prince Edward Point and Lake Ontario, where the boat was heavily burning.
A source to Quinte News indicates the fire started in the rear of the vessel.
Thankfully those aboard were able to escape in their dinghy.
It is believed the operators had filled about 500 litres of diesel in Ganonoque, before they departed.
Prince Edward Point is about 30 minutes southeast of Picton.
