We have a tragic update to a fire we have been following for several days now.
According to multiple reports, the two victims of the blaze on Moira Street West have both died.
Erica and Chris Keegan passed away in the fire on the 100 block of the road.
Emergency crews were called to the property on Sunday September 6, 2026, around 5:00 a.m..
The fire is being investigated by the Office of the Fire Marshal in conjunction with the local fire.

Hello everyone,
As many of you may know, my aunt Erica and uncle Chris were involved in a devastating house fire on Sunday, September 6, and unfortunately both have now passed away.
At the time of the fire, Garret and Kaci were living with their parents. Unfortunately, while they are already trying to cope with the fear and uncertainty of having both of their parents in the hospital, they are also suddenly without a home.
We are incredibly grateful to the Red Cross for stepping in and providing the boys with a hotel for the time being. However, that temporary accommodation will soon come to an end, and they need our help to find a safe and stable place to stay.
I created this GoFundMe to help Garret and Kaci in hopes that we can give them a chance to get them back on their feet!
