The Joint Rescue Coordination Centre Trenton was involved in a rescue of an injured canoeist.
In a post to social media, the JRCC says that on Sunday, a CH-146 Griffon from 8 Wing Trenton rescued an injured canoeist from a remote area near Moon River, Ont.
The helicopter hoisted the injured person and transported them safely to hospital.
