The second annual The County Cares Food Bank Benefit concert is set to take place at the Regent Theatre tonight.
Performances will come from Road Apples, a Tragically Hip tribute band, as well as the county’s own Cue the Funk.
Councillor and organizer Sam Grosso says 100% of ticket sales will go towards the Wellington and Picton food banks.
“There’s no administration fees. The fees for the bands are being paid from a donor who is donating his money to the theatre for the rental,” Grosso tells Quinte News.
“The bands are being paid from the charity. One hundred per cent of the ticket sales are going to the food banks.”
