Belleville police have arrested a 31-year-old local man following a threat investigation in the city’s west end.
Officers responded late Saturday afternoon after a caller allegedly contacted dispatchers and threatened a woman known to him.
Following a quick investigation at the scene, police located and arrested the suspect.
He faces charges of uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm and breaching a recognizance order, and remains held for a bail hearing.
