Police have provided more information on Sunday’s two-vehicle collision south of Bancroft that claimed the lives of two people.
OPP say there was a head-on collision around 5:15 p.m. on Highway 62
One driver, a 41-year-old resident of Mount Bridges, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Emergency Medical Services transported the other driver, a 46-year-old resident of Wollaston Lake, to hospital where they were later pronounced deceased.
Highway 62 was closed for several hours between Lower Turriff Road and Highway 620 in Limerick.
Members of OPP Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement attended the scene to assist with the investigation.
The investigation remains ongoing.
