It is with heavy hearts that the family of Joyce Llewellyn (nee Nokes) announce her passing away peacefully on Saturday 8 August 2026 in her 94th year. She loved her family deeply and will be greatly missed. Loving wife of the late Gerald “Lew” Llewellyn. Loving mother of Rebecca (Jim) and Rhondda (the late Doug), Grandmother to Jessica (Joel), Sarah (Daniel), Laura and Brian (Emma). Great grandmother to Kiya, Rowan, Kastiel, Finley, Keanu, Amelia and Kinsley. She is survived by her younger siblings Ken and Marilyn. She will also be lovingly remembered by her sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Joyce dedicated much of her life to caring for her family. She will be remembered for her quiet strength, kindness, devotion to those she loved. She loved the times spent with her daughters picking out gifts for her grandchildren and great grandchildren, then sharing a meal in different restaurants. In years past, she was an active member of St Peter’s choir. Her gentle spirit and appreciation for life’s small joys will be remembered by those who knew and loved her.
She moved to Belmont, Belleville, in October 2022, Streamway Wing, and we extend our most heartfelt thank you for your kindness, support, and tender care of Joyce.
Cremation has already taken place. Private family interment will take place at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Trenton . In lieu of flowers, donations in Joyce’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada. Online guest book and condolences at www.weaverfuneralhomes.com
