O’Rourke, Kevin passed away peacefully with family by his side at Peterborough Regional Health Care Wednesday Aug 5, 2026. Kevin was the beloved husband of 40 years to his cherished wife Lorie O’Rourke (Ames). Devoted father to Raylee Gerelus (Michael) and Reanne O’Rourke (Darcy LeBlanc). The best and proudest papa to his grandchildren Valla and Leo Gerelus and Vienna and Jack LeBlanc.
Kevin will be missed by his siblings Dan O’Rourke (Nancy), John O’Rourke (Brenda) and Mike O’Rourke (Andrea). Kevin was predeceased by his sisters Colleen and Margaret O’Rourke as well as his parents Winnifred and Charles O’Rourke.
Kevin was a hard worker and devoted to his family. Whether it be his home town of Campbellford or surrounding communities everyone knew Kevin as someone who would never say no to chatting or catching up. His life started here on a Dairy Farm where his love of farming turned him into an animal lover but also developed a hardened work ethic that shone through his various careers as an entrepreneur in driveway sealing, flooring and car sales.
Kevin would often set aside time to cheer on his favourite hockey team the Chicago Blackhawks or take a ride on his Harley Davidson. His meticulous, friendly, and social personality will be a great loss in this community, Kevin will be remembered fondly and missed by all he touched.
