It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Charles David Lang, 56, on August 3, 2026 from pancreatic cancer.
He died at home with the love of his life, Jane and his beloved sister, Michelle at his side.
Born July 30th, 1970 in Belleville.
He was predeceased by his father Keith Lang and his mother Joan Lang.
Cherished and devoted husband of Jane Ogden. Loved father of Breanna Wannamaker and proud stepfather of Patrick (Victor) Neal. Dear brother of Cathy, Michelle and Christina.
A friend and brother-in-law to Joe Williams, David and Michelle Ogden and Stephen and Peggy Ogden. Loved by many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins, especially his niece, Jessica Ogden.
Charles was predeceased by his only brother, Shane.
Charles was an ironworker and a member of local 721. He was known to have a strong work ethic by anyone who ever worked with him. Loyalty defined him and it never wavered. A man more true to friend and family never was.
Charles’s love of skidooing was immeasurable as was his love of horses, dogs and cats. Fishing and cutting wood were two of his favourite pastimes.
Although his time with us was much too short, the love he gave, the lives he touched and the memories he created will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew, loved and had the privilege of walking beside him.
Funeral Service is at Emmanuel United Church in Foxboro on Thursday, August 6th with visitation beginning at 9:30 until service begins at 11. A light luncheon to be served following the service in the church hall.
In lieu of flowers, donations appreciated to Emmanuel United Church.
