Local leaders and community members gathered in Centennial Park on Saturday for the official grand opening of Quinte West’s new all-inclusive playground.
The $532,000 project by the Trenton Lions is on Bay Street and ensures kids of all abilities can play side by side.
The fully accessible space features ramped play structures, accessible swings, a zip line, a merry-go-round, and sensory panels.
Project Chair Mike Seymour says the goal was to create a space where everyone in the community can connect and thrive together.
