It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Gail Crews born February 17, 1944 in Trenton. Gail passed peacefully at Hospice Quinte on Saturday, July 11, 2026 in her 83rd year. Gail is the deeply loved wife of Art Crews with whom she shared 64 years with. She was the cherished daughter of the late Eula and Charles Hyatt.
Gail was the loving and proud mother to Julie Sager (Dave), Angela Lyons (Brad), Matthew Crews and Lorina Mastin (Dan). She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren, Adam Sager (Zoey), late Cole Sager, Cameron Sager (Sarah), Brett Lyons (Alli), Gavin Crews (Sophia), Ethan Mastin, Evan Lyons (Michelle), Emma Mastin, Dexter Crews. Gail is survived by her sisters Marie Childerhose (late Donald “Jump”) and Sandy Gervais (late Gary Sharpe). Gail is predeceased by her sister Joan Quinn (Don) and her brother Wes Hyatt.
Gail will be fondly remembered by her great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, Paul Chard (Yvonne), her friends and all their families, especially her good friends Wayne and Diane Fraser, as well as Pat and Harry Dean.
Visitation will be held at Weaver Family Funeral Home, 29 Bay St. Trenton on Sunday July 26th, 2026 from 3:30- 6:30pm. Funeral service will be held at Weaver Family Funeral Home on Monday July 27th, 2026 at 11:00 am, Interment at Mt Evergreen following the service. Family and friends are invited back to the Weaver Life Centre for a time of reception following the interment.
