A local not-for-profit is looking to the community to have a day of fun and fundraising this fall.
On Saturday October 24, the St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store in Belleville is hosting a fundraising fashion show.
Kelly Himberg-Larsen is the co-chair for the board of directors and tells Quinte News the focus on the event is to raise funds to support their mission of supporting those in financial hardship in the community.
The fashion show is taking place at the Grand Banquet Hall on Harder Drive and will also include a silent auction and refreshments.
The St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store provides affordable clothing and household essentials, while working with local social service agencies to provide items at no cost to individuals and families facing financial hardship in the Quinte region.
