Same facility but new name

Lehigh Arena, the rink in the Wellington & District Community Centre, will likely see a name change soon.

At its meeting on Tuesday, Prince Edward Council will be asked to approve a Naming Rights
Sponsorship Agreement with Heidelberg Materials Canada.

Heidelberg was formerly known as Essroc/Lehigh.

If approved, the arena will be known as the Heidelberg Materials Arena at the Wellington & District Community Centre.

Heidelberg will pay the county $150,000 over 10 years.
