The local real estate market was more active last month than in the month of May.
According to the Central Lakes Association of Realtors, 261 homes changed hands in Hastings County in June, up from 222 the month before.
The average price was about the same, at $544,000 per unit.
In Prince Edward County there were 47 sales last month compared to 40 in May.
The average residential sale price in the county was $758,000, up from $736,000 in May.
In Northumberland County there were 152 sales in June compared to 128 in May.
The average price was $678,000, a little lower than May’s $695,000.
On a year-to year basis, average prices were lower in all three counties last month compared to June of 2025.
