Bennett, Frona – of Belleville, passed peacefully at Hastings Manor on Saturday, May 23rd, 2026, at the age of 89. Dear daughter of the late Sam & Stella Turcotte. Beloved wife of the late Terry Bennett. Cherished mother of Todd Bennett (Erin) and the late Troy Bennett (surviving wife Jackie). Also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren; Taylor Mackey (Pat), Brandon Bennett (Presley), Jessie Bloom (Perry), Terran Bennett (Kyla), and great-grandchildren; Aubrey Mackey, Jackson & Reese Donovan. Frona was predeceased by her sister Doreen Lucas and by her brother Basil Turcotte. Frona was bold, spirited, and full of life. She loved to dance, embraced competition with enthusiasm, and was often the heart of every gathering. With her warm smile, quick wit, and infectious laughter, she had a special way of bringing joy to those around her. Even in her final days, her sense of humour and ability to make others laugh never faded. Family and friends are invited to attend a Graveside Service for Frona which will be held at St. James Cemetery (Champagne Drive, Belleville), on Wednesday, May 27th, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. Following the Graveside Service everyone is welcome to join the family at the Belleville and District Shrine Club (160 Catharine Street, Belleville), for a time of fellowship and reception. Arrangements entrusted to Steele Funeral Home, Belleville.
