Laroche, Harley . . . following a brief illness with cancer, Harley passed away May 17th. He was the beloved husband of Gayle Laroche (nee Forgrave) for over 60 years. Proud father of Troy and Tina, father-in-law to Barb Laroche and Tom Sykes. Grandfather to Jacob, Emily (Blair) Abigail, Owen Laroche and Spencer (Taylor) Sykes, were his pride and joy. Brother to Bonnie (Alton) Fowler of Sawyerville Quebec, Brother-in-law to Lynn (Marie), Donna, Cindy Forgrave and Daphane (Donald) Doyle, and Darlene (Gary) Clark. Harley was a beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews, each of whom held a special place in his heart. Harley was a dedicated employee of Ingersoll Rand for 35 years and an active member of the Lions Club in both Georgetown and Campbellford. In keeping with Harley’s wishes, cremation will take place. Family and friends are invited to visit at the Weaver Family Funeral Home, 77 Second Street, Campbellford, on Saturday, May 23rd, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A funeral service will be held at Seymour United Church on Sunday, May 24th, 2026, at 1:30 PM. The family wishes to thank the staff at both Campbellford Memorial Hospital and Peterborough Regional Health Centre for their exceptional kindness and care.
