With very heavy hearts we announce the passing of Moira Blair on May 6 2026. A devoted and loving Wife, Mum and Grandma she is survived by her husband of 48 years John, daughter Andrea, son Thomas, son in law Yit and Grandchildren, the light of her life, John & Olive. She also leaves behind loving siblings, extended family and many special friendships.
Moira dedicated her life to taking care of others working as a registered nurse for over 35 years. She will be missed beyond measure and her spirit lives on in the form of the ocean waves and palm trees in Florida, her favorite place to visit with John, and in the act of caring for others and in the endless funny stories created as a strong and supportive family unit.
She fought her disease pulmonary arterial hypertension for over 8 years and was part of many life changing treatment studies under the care of Dr. John Granton and his team. The family asks that donations in Moira’s name go to the Pulmonary Hypertension Association of Canada.
