The Quinte Judo Club sent two members to the 44th annual Tora Judo Championships in Brampton, with both bringing back some hardware.
Scott Morgan did not quite make weight for his 90 kg division, so he competed in the 100kg or less division, winning two of his three matches for a silver medal in the veterans division (over age 30).
Representing Quinte Judo for the U18 minus 73 kg division was Doug Robinson, taking home a bronze medal with two wins/two losses in well-fought matches.
Robinson only started judo last September and will be quickly moving up in ranks as he has been defeating higher ranks for two tournaments in a row.
Robinson trains with Kenzo Dozono, earning a brown belt in Karate.
