Prince Edward County has awarded a tender for the next stage of the County Road 3 reconstruction project.
Council discussed the tender during Tuesday’s meeting of council.
This phase of work will take place over an approximately 1.1 km section of road starting at 1460 County Road 3 and continuing to 1668 County Road 3.
The work was tendered to Earth-Crete Ontario Inc. for $1,226,654.30. Earth-Crete Ontario Inc. was the lowest of the seven bidders.
Construction is expected to be completed by September.
