The province is going to redesign a well-known regional intersection.
On Wednesday, Hastings-Lennox and Addington MPP Ric Bresee was in Kaladar to announce new infrastructure for Highway 41 and Highway 7.
Bresee says the intersection sees far too many accidents and near misses.
The government, with the help of Lennox and Addington County and Addington Highlands Council, will move into the engineering and design phase of the work.
It is not known whether the redesign will include lights and a realignment or a roundabout.
