Contraband and unauthorized items have been seized at Joyceville institution.
A package with a total estimated institutional value of $132,030 was seized at the multi-level security federal institution on Saturday.
The items seized included tobacco, marijuana, “shatter” (cannabis concentrate) and MDMA.
The Correctional Service of Canada uses a number of tools to prevent drugs from entering its institutions.
These tools include ion scanners and detector dogs to search buildings, personal property, inmates, and visitors.
