The Belleville Police Service’s Drug and Intelligence Unit, Emergency Response Unit and K9 Unit conducted two Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrants on Thursday.
The first warrant was executed in the city’s south end.
Officers seized the following:
- 6.1 grams of Fentanyl
- 154.9 grams of Cocaine
- 5.3 grams of Crystal Methamphetamine
- 3 hydro morphine pills
- $365 Canadian currency
- 3 cell phones and a tablet
As a result of a police investigation, the following were arrested and charged:
Forty-eight-year-old Russell Barriage Jr. of Belleville, was charged with the following offences and held for a bail hearing:
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Fentanyl
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking –Methamphetamine
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Other Opioid
- Possession of Proceeds under $5000
Thirty-nine-year-old Melissa Gould of Belleville was charged with the following offences and held for a bail hearing:
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Fentanyl
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking –Methamphetamine
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Other Opioid
- Possession of Proceeds under $5000
- Fail to comply with probation
Seventy-eight-year-old Russell Barriage Sr. of Belleville was charged with the following offences and released on an undertaking with a court date in March:
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Fentanyl
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking –Methamphetamine
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Other Opioid
- Possession of Proceeds under $5000
Seventy-two-year-old Kathleen Barriage of Belleville was charged with the following offences and released on an undertaking with a court date in March:
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Fentanyl
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking –Methamphetamine
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Other Opioid
- Possession of Proceeds under $5000
A second warrant was executed in the downtown core with officers seized the following:
- 5.3 grams of Cocaine
- 1.6 grams of Fentanyl
- $5,340 in Canadian currency
- 2 cell phones
As a result of a police investigation, the following were arrested and charged:
Forty-four-year-old Robert Dent of Belleville was charged with the following offences and held for a bail hearing:
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Fentanyl
- Possession of Proceeds over $5000
- Fail to comply with probation
Twenty-four-year-old Austin Healey-Dent of Belleville was charged with the following offences and held for a bail hearing:
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Fentanyl
- Possession of Proceeds over $5000
- Outstanding warrants executed
Forty-six-year-old Toshia Downs of Belleville was charged with the following offences and released on an undertaking with a court date in March:
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Fentanyl
- Possession of Proceeds over $5000
Fifty-two-year-old Michael McCoy of Belleville was charged with the following offences and released on an undertaking with a court date in March:
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Fentanyl
- Possession of Proceeds over $5000
