It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Wayne Morris Foley, born August 21, 1944 in Wooler Ontario.
Wayne is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years Eva, and his three children Kathy(Edward), Robert(Lynne), and Sherri(Jeff). Wayne adored his grandchildren Johnathan, Liam, Grace, Isabella (Angel) and Jack – and treasured the time he spent with them.
Wayne loved sharing stories from his past careers, spending time with his grandchildren, and being an active member of the Masonic Lodge, The Odd Fellows, and the Legion. He devoted countless hours volunteering within these organizations. Wayne also had a passion for hunting and being in the great outdoors.
Wayne was predeceased by his loving parents Frank and Evelyn Foley, and his brothers Douglas and James “Jim” Foley.
Wayne will be fondly remembered by many family members including his brothers Walter(Carol) and Robert(Heather), his sister Jeannie(Gerry), his sister-in-laws Nancy and Lorrie, also many nieces, nephews and friends.
As per Wayne’s wishes cremation will take place and A Celebration of Life will be held in the spring or early summer.
Donations in Wayne’s memory to Quinte Hospice or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
