The Wellington Dukes smashed the Markham Royals 7-1 on Friday.
Evan Erwin, Liam Campbell, Landon Marleau, Zachary Carrier, Cooper Woron, and Kyle Grasby scored for the Dukes.
The Dukes started the game with two unanswered first-period goals, followed by three more unanswered goals in the second. In the third, the Dukes scored twice more before the Royals scored their only goal in the game.
The Dukes are on the road on Saturday. They’re facing the Stouffville Spirit at 7:30 p.m.
