The Trenton Golden Hawks beat the Pickering Panthers 3-2 on Friday.
Thomas Kuipers and Joey Brehmer scored for the Golden Hawks.
The Golden Hawks opened scoring in the first period, but the Panthers came back to even the score before the end of the frame. In the second, the Golden Hawks took back the lead with two unanswered goals. In the third period the Panthers scored one unanswered goal, but couldn’t catch up, leaving the Golden Hawks with the win.
The Golden Hawks are back in action on Saturday. They’re on the road against the Haliburton Huskies. Game time is 4 p.m.
