Officers from the Corrections Service of Canada have seized multiple packages of contraband items at the Collins Bay Correctional Institution.
The packages were discovered by corrections officers on Tuesday, and contained tobacco, marijuana, cannabis concentrate, as well as edged weapons.
The total estimated institutional value of these seizures is approximately $207,221.
The Collins Bay facility is a multi-level security federal institution.
