Police are searching for at least four suspects after a jewellery store robbery at the Shops at Pickering City Centre.
On January 15, 2026 at approximately 5:35 p.m., members of West Division responded to a robbery call at Peoples Jewellers located in the Shops at Pickering City Centre at 1355 Kingston Road. Four masked suspects entered the jewellery store began smashing display cases. The suspects stole a quantity of jewellery before fleeing the mall in a vehicle.
No employees suffered any physical injuries.
Anyone that was in or around the mall between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. and may have cell phone or dashcam video or information is asked to contact police.
