Gary James Johnson
With heavy hearts and deep sadness, we announce the passing of Gary James Johnson, who suddenly passed away on December 14, 2025, in his 37th year.
Born on April 5, 1988, in Belleville, Gary was a bright and compassionate person whose presence brought joy to those around him. He was known for his kind heart, infectious smile and wonderful sense of humour.
Gary leaves behind the love of his life, Jessica Hedge. He is lovingly remembered by his mother Lisa Johnson and father Todd Crouchman and mother-in-law Tina Deline. He will be missed by his lifelong best friend/chosen brother Tyler Schaap, as well as numerous family members, both blood and chosen.
In honour of Gary’s life, the family requests that donations be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada and Fixed Fur Life Canada.
Though Gary’s life was cut short, his love, light and memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
