As it wraps up its 58th annual campaign, the Christmas Sharing Program has issued an urgent call for financial support to help cover the cost of this year’s Christmas Food Hampers and grocery gift card equivalents.
In a release, the program says that it was able to give out hampers and gift cards to 1,334 registered households.
In addition, more than 800 children aged 10 and under were registered through Christmas Sharing to receive gifts
from the Belleville Professional Firefighters Toy Drive.
“Christmas Sharing would not be possible without the generosity of our community. This year, the need was significant. Our community’s continued financial help will make all the difference to complete our 58th campaign,” said Hazel Lloyst, coordinator of the Christmas Sharing Program, in a press release.
