A Gananoque resident facing impaired driving charges following a collision in Loyalist Township.
Monday, shortly before 7 p.m., Lennnox and Addington OPP responded to a two vehicle collision on Amherst Drive.
After being treated by EMS, one driver was arrested.
Nikolas Dckson, age 27, was charged with:
- Operation while impaired – alcohol
- Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration 80 plus
- Careless driving
- Fail to surrender licence
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Greater Napanee on January 6, 2026.
Their driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days and their vehicle was impounded.
