The Markham Royals defeated the Trenton Golden Hawks 6-3 on Friday night.
Joshua Brady, Jamie Darlison, and Jack Ziliotto scored for the Golden Hawks.
The Royals opened scoring in the first period with an unanswered goal. In the second, the Golden Haeks scored to even the game before the Royals came right back to take the lead again. In the third period the Royals scored an early goal before the Golden Hawks scored two back-to-back to even the game once again. Late in the period, the Royals went on a three-goal streak to retake their lead and win the game.
The Golden Hawks are on the road on Sunday facing the King Rebellion.
