Belleville City Council will be making a decision on proposed Water and Wastewater rates for 2026.
The proposed increases includes Water rates of 1.63%, with larger increases to monthly flat rate water charges at 5%.
The other other is Residential and General Service Wastewater surcharge increased to 111.9%.
For 2026, the average residential customer using 18 cubic metres monthly will experience an increase in their combined water and wastewater bill of 5.36% or $7.26 per month.
