Northumberland OPP are investigating a number of break and enters reported over the weekend.
Late Friday morning, officers responded to two businesses on Industrial Park Road after foldable pedal bikes were reported stolen.
The incident is believed to have occurred between 1 a.m. and 5 a.m. that morning.
Early Saturday afternoon, police received a report of an overnight break and enter at an unoccupied residence on Orchard Road.
Metal piping had been cut and removed from the property.
A Scenes of Crime Officer attended to assist with the investigation.
Investigators believe the incidents may be connected and motivated by metal theft.
