A Belleville woman has been charged after a report of an assault at an apartment complex in Belleville’s north end.
Belleville police responded to the incident on November 10 at 3:59 p.m.
Upon police arrival, it was reported that a verbal disagreement resulted in a female swinging her arm at a resident while holding a weapon.
Officers also learned that the female was on conditions to keep the peace and be of good behaviour.
Forty-six-year-old Amanda Lake of Belleville, of no fixed address, was charged with assault with a weapon and two counts of failure to comply with a probation order.
She was held for a bail hearing.
