Firefighters from Quinte West’s Station 2 in Murray ward are having a busy morning today (Wednesday).
At 2:35 a.m. crews were called out after reports of flames coming from a Tesla on Summer Breeze Drive in the Carrying Place area near Wellers Bay.
Besides the Tesla, another vehicle caught fire as well.
Both blazes were put out in around half an hour. OPP were called in to help with an investigation into the cause.
Then at 5:30 a.m. firefighters were called to Walt Street at the border with Brighton where flames were coming from the attic of a house.
Damage from the flames were contained to the attic area and no one was injured.
Both Quinte West and Brighton fire departments responded.
