Tuesday is Remembrance Day and that means ceremonies will be taking place across the Quinte region.
In Belleville, the ceremony will be held at the Cenotaph on Cannifton Road. The ceremony will begin at 10:30 a.m.
In Quinte West, the ceremony will be taking place at the Cenotaph on Albert Street starting at 10:30. CJBQ will be broadcasting this ceremony live, with the broadcast starting just before 11 a.m. Road closures on Albert Street, Fraser Park Drive, and Quinte Street will begin at 9:45 and continue until noon.
In Prince Edward County, there will be an indoor service held at Wellington United Church at 10 a.m. followed by a wreath-laying at the Cenotaph in Wellington Park at 10:40.
New commemorative crosswalks are also being installed in Picton, Wellington, and Consecon.
