The Newmarket Hurricanes defeated the Trenton Golden Hawks 6-2 on Friday night.
Joey Brehmer and Matt Indovina scored for the Golden Hawks.
The Golden Hawks opened scoring early in the first period with two back-to-back goals. The Hurricanes came back to grab their first goal late in the period. In the second, the Hurricanes scored once within one minute of play, and followed with two more late goals to take the lead. In the third, the Hurricanes extended their lead with two more goals, and won the game.
The Golden Hawks are back in action on Sunday. They’re on the road to face the North York Rangers.
