The 2025 Christmas/holiday season is just around the corner.
With that comes the opportunity for a charitable way to support the YMCA and keep local roads more safe.
YMCA of Central East Ontario has launched the annual Operation Red Nose campaign.
Red Nose Quinte gets you and your vehicle home safe and sound, while accepting donations to raise funds for the Strong Kids Campaign.

For the second straight year, realtor Patricia Guernsey and retired Belleville Police Chief Mike Callaghan are campaign co-chairs.
Guernsey told those in attendance at the campaign launch it is a wonderful opportunity to help your community by volunteering as a driver or navigator.
” I would just like to add my sincere thanks to all the community the rallies around us every year, all our volunteers that obviously come out and we have some fun while we’re out there as well.”
Callaghan says everyone that is on the board, volunteering, or using Operation Red Nose is making a difference.
“There’s an old philosophy about believing. I singly believe that everything we are doing is making a difference in our community and this is our opportunity to give back.”
