Belleville police responded to 90 calls for service over a 24-hour period from 5 a.m. on November 4, 2025 to 5 a.m. on November 5, 2025.
Traffic Enforcement
On November 4, 2025 at 8:50 p.m., Belleville police were conducting traffic enforcement on Bell Blvd. when a vehicle was recorded driving at 169 km/hr in a 50 km/hr zone. As a result, an 18-year-old Burnstown man was charged with stunt driving and issued a summons with a court date in December. His vehicle was impounded for 14 days and his licence suspended for 30 days.
Breach of Probation
On November 4, 2025 at 11:54 p.m., Belleville police responded to a residence in the city’s east end regarding a report of a domestic dispute. Upon arrival, police could hear a male and a female voice yelling. Officers spoke with the female resident and learned the that the male was bound by conditions to not communicate with the female. The male was hiding outside and attempted to evade police but was taken into custody without issue.
As a result of investigation, a 39-year-old Belleville man was arrested and charged with six counts of failure to comply with a probation order. He was held for a bail hearing.
