Northumberland OPP are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a hit and run in Trent Hills.
On October 18 at around 11:30 p.m., officers responded to a report of motor vehicle collision involving a passenger vehicle and a pedestrian at the intersection of County Road 30, and County Road 35.
Emergency Medical Services transported the pedestrian to a local hospital with serious injuries.
Police believe one motorist stopped, exited their vehicle and was then struck by the other vehicle before leaving the scene.
The complainant described a white Nissan Qashqai with a plate similar to DMV711 and had yellow backing, in the format of a service plate. The driver is believed to be a male in their late 50s or in their 60s.
Investigators are actively looking for information that may lead to the identification of the suspect and vehicle involved.
