A former Belleville Bull will soon be the vice president of hockey operations for the Ontario Hockey League.
The league announced the appointment of James Boyd to the role on Wednesday.
Boyd played his final two years of his major junior career as a member of the Belleville Bulls from 1995-1997.
He then transitioned to coaching, serving as an assistant coach for the Bulls from 1999-2003, before becoming head coach for the 2003-2004 season.
He most recently served as the general manager of the Ottawa 67s.
Boyd will officially be in his new role with the OHL on November 17.
