The Trenton Golden Hawks have picked up right where they left off last season.
After wins last week against the Lindsay Muskies and Mississauga Chargers, the G-Hawks have climbed into first place in the Ontario Junior Hockey League.
With that success to start the season, Trenton has jumped seven spots week over week in the Canadian Junior Hockey League Top 20 rankings.
As far as the OJHL is concerned, Trenton ranks first in wins, points, and winning percentage, along with short-handed goals for.
They are second in the league in goals against and goals for per game, and power play goals per game.
The top line is also putting the puck in the net.
Taeo Artichuk has the most goals and points in the league and sits second in assists, only to linemate Jack Ziliotto.
The Golden Hawks are in Leamington on Thursday evening before returning home Friday night before hosting Pickering Friday.
